Description:
Option 1: Short Loop- (4.8 mile hike)- For shorter hike bring food to work on trail cooking or a sack lunch and bring your scoutbook as well to work on scout skills
Option 2: Long Loop (7.4 mile hike)- Bring a sack lunch and also bring your 10 essentials

Description:
Option 1: This hike is easy, just around 4 miles. We will do additional miles as needed and will also work on some rank requirements and MB requirements for Camping, Cooking, and hiking.
Option 2: This hike is a moderate hike. If you feel confident hiking 8 miles this hike is for you. We will be modifying this route a little bit and will be going up to the top of Iowa hill and then getting back on the trail on the way back.

Description: We will be starting our hike at the Oregon Zoo parking lot and we will be hiking up to Pittock Mansion and back. We will also be learning how to make backpacking meals.
